Why do you schedule a meet & greet?

Dogs are like humans in that we all don’t get along. We must make sure that our dog lovers and your beloved dogs make a good team. It is helpful that they recognize our scent when we make our first visit to your home. It is also one of the only times that we humans may actually meet! This is the time we will arrange to pick up a key as well.

What areas do you service?

We currently service all of Wake County and Chapel Hill. Occasionally we do get requests for service outside of our regular territory. These requests are always considered and certain locations can be accommodated for a small mileage surcharge. Just ask us if you’re too far and we’ll let you know.

Can I trust WigWagWalk?

Absolutely! WigWagWalk employs only the most courteous, trustworthy and responsible dog lovers to look after your pets. For extra assurance we are fully bonded and insured by Business Insurers of the Carolinas.

Do you walk in inclement weather?

Rain? Not a problem! Snow? If travel is safe. Thunderstorms? No. In cases of inclement weather we will substitute a walk with an indoor play session as long as travel to and from your home is considered safe.

What if I need to cancel?

As long as you contact us 24 hours in advance you will not be charged.

I have two dogs. Do you charge extra for additional pups?

The easy answer is, no! We do not charge for any additional pets.

Will my dog always be walked by the same person?

It cannot be guaranteed with the constant changes to client schedules and also to make accommodations to the schedules of our dog walkers. We will, however, try our best to schedule a regular walker. Keep in mind, that no walker will ever be assigned to your pup(s) without meeting them with a familiar walker first! You will be notified if schedule changes affect your pup(s).

How many dogs will you walk at a time?

We only walk one household at a time. We do absolutely no pack walking. This allows us to give your pup(s) the most personalized attention possible. They will never get lost in the shuffle and you will not have to worry about a disagreement among other pups.

What forms of payment do you accept?

At this time we will accept cash and check. You can even pay us through your online bill-pay if you prefer!

What if I need last-minute service?

While we cannot guarantee last minute service, we will certainly do our best to accommodate. Any service requested less than 24 hours in advance may be subject to a $15 fee.

What about holidays?

WigWagWalk observes the following holidays: New Years Day, Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day. Service can be requested on holidays, but will not always be granted. Any service scheduled on one of these holidays will be subject to a $15 fee.
